9th February 2026 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: cloudy with some drizzle Max Speed: Distance Covered: Monday 9th February - walks ** – Around Felixstowe – gloomy with drizzle. I had set my camera on the tripod last night hoping for a sunrise this morning but we had another cloudy dull day here in Felixstowe so I had a bit of a lay-in. I then had a drive down to Felixstowe Ferry to take some weather pics, definitely gloomy, after a quick walk around the boatyard I stopped off at The Dip for a walk out onto the shingle bank by the kite pond as it was low tide! Then home for breakfast and sort out my pics which sadly takes ages as my laptop is on a go slow! Then after yummy scrambled egg I did my exercises before Mag and I had a late afternoon stroll down to a chilly prom and back through the town, stopping off at the garage to book our van in for a winter check up as we are off to the mountains for the first time in 6 years in March!!!!
